Production Marketing
Enstep's Production Marketing workbench focuses on the needs of producers of natural gas and crude oil. Enstep tracks division orders, uploads production forecasts, allocates forecasts over distribution network, calculates netback prices, and manages production imbalances.
Natural Gas Processing
Application users dealing with processing facilities will find Enstep very useful. It manages processing contracts; tracks well specifications; schedules production to downstream points; calculates PVR and expected liquids volumes; records plant allocations; and generates reports for margin analysis and jurisdictional taxes.
Inventory Management
Enstep is the best inventory management system for energy commodities. It not only tracks inventory by FIFO, LIFO, or weighted-average cost, but it also tracks an inventories quality specifications, too. This capability, therefore, can be used to manage natural gas storage, crude oil tanks, and coal terminal stockpiles.
Transportation Scheduling
Schedulers can see transactions needing to be scheduled in both tabular and graphical user interfaces. Its tabular format shows physical purchases and sales; transportation agreements; storage facilities, interconnects, and pooling points; and lots of other important scheduling data.
Enstep's graphical scheduling format is unique in the industry. It organizes purchases and sales by Utilities, Zones, and Points, shown as icons in a graphical display; and shipping contracts shown as lines joining two or more points. Schedulers can simply drag-n-drop volumes from one point to another in order to generate shipment records within Enstep.
EnStep also generates shipment data automatically using pre-defined paths. EnStep generates shipment data energy commodities using an economic dispatch, least-cost-routing methodology.
